Happy Friday, y’all! It’s the first Friday of 2009–exciting, huh? Let’s celebrate the new year with a look back at one of the biggest WTF? moments in pop culture history. Today we take it back 10 years to 1999.
Long before Brad Pitt became half of Brangelina, he was linked to a woman named Athena Rolando. No, they weren’t a hot secret couple–she was the mentally disturbed woman who broke into Pitt’s home. She was found by a caretaker, wearing Pitt’s clothes: A blue hat, green sweatshirt, tracksuit pants and shoes. Sounds like she was getting ready for a workout, huh?
Rolando, an aspiring actress from Montana, pleaded no contest to trespassing charges a month after her arrest. She was placed on three years probation and ordered to undergo psychological counseling.
And of course, we all know what happened to Brad.
