So, last night was the season premiere of The Hills, and the rift between Lauren and Audrina is about to really come to a head. Trying to bridge the ever widening gap between them, Lauren throws Audrina a birthday pool party. Lo half-heartedly helps and it’s clear she’s tired of trying to be buddy-buddy with ol’ vacant eyes.
But in the interest of keeping the peace, Lo stops by Audrina’s guest house to chat about the situation and try to get everything out in the open. And Audrina’s kind of a bitch about the whole thing:
Granted, I may be biased because I prefer smart-ass Lo to dead-eye Audrina any day, but honestly, I don’t think Lo’s in the wrong here. There’s naturally going to be a closeness between her and Lauren that Audrina just can’t compete with, since Lo and Lauren have known each other since childhood, and Audrina only came into the picture after MTV recruited her to be on the show. I’m sure this isn’t the end of this, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next week.
Oh, and there was a lame storyline about Heidi’s sister visiting and Spencer being a douche about it, but it was far too boring and obviously contrived (these two really should take some acting lessons, because no one’s buying their lame schtick) to even bother with.

Are you kidding me? Lo is a fucking boring loser. Haha. And Audrina has been treated so poorly by Lauren and crews that i don’t blame her for being rude. Either way, I’ve decided I am too old to watch that show anymore. I MUST STOP!

HA, I am way too old to be watching this show too, but I can’t tear myself away. It’s so sad!

@Lizzie: yeah i’m kind of on the audrina train. i like lo and all, but i’ve been the third friend to a duo-since-preschool (though, my eyes aren’t vacant…i hope!) and when one is hellbent on not letting you in, the comforting path to choose is to isolate yourself. then when you see the mean one trying in vain to reach out, you’re just like yeah, you’re a bitch.
@DZ: YES, PLEASE get rid of the heidi/spencer/randomsisterfromcolorado act. pull eeeze. spencer is too evil for belief, and heidi walks like a stick is holding her spine in place and her hair blinds me. and her “sister” or whatever needs an acting coach, yes.
